Hide all the sharp objects.

I was inspired today by this blog about depressing songs. I listened to them and, although they’re all good, none of them made me want to cut myself.

So, for your enjoyment (that may be the wrong word…), here’s my list of depressing songs. This is all the stuff I can’t listen to because, inevitably, I’ll put it on repeat and not shut it off for a week or so.

I should really design a warning label for cutters to put on this blog…

Brand New– The Quiet Things No One Ever Knows

This song is just… yeah. I love the whole CD, but I can never bring myself to take it out.

Damien Rice– Cannonball

The first time I heard this song, I only caught a line or two of the chorus. I looked up the lyrics and discovered the amazingness that is Damien Rice. He’s so cool that I had to make up a word to describe him.

James Blunt– Goodbye My Lover

This song can inspire tears if I hear it at the wrong time… but I fucking love it.

Cartel– Wasted

3 people die in the first verse… how much worse can it get?

Everytime– Britney Spears

Don’t judge me.
